Welcome to FUNDING FOR FUTURE Startup Program presented by iFUND LAB for startups and small businesses who have a novel technology solution but do not know how to raise initial capital.

Funding for Future (F3) Startup Program powered by iFund Lab offers training and workshops to help U.S.-based tech-entrepreneurs and startups learn about SBIR/STTR programs, intellectual property, market research high-tech innovations, and how to prepare well-crafted and persuasive SBIR/STTR proposals.

2022 Series

NSF SBIR|STTR Phase I BootCamp

In this 8-week program, the startups will have the opportunity to learn how quickly to raise capital through SBIR|STTR programs and have a deeper understanding of the NSF SBIR/STTR programs. During the programs, startups & small businesses will receive a technical assistance and structure through the SBIR|STTR application process. We’ll help you break down your research proposal, focus on the technical goals, write a compelling project scope and commercial plan, develop an accurate budget, and more.

Upon the completion, the startups will learn about the registration processes, proposal forms and submission portals, NSF evaluation criteria, building a team, and more. During the course, you will develop a working draft of your NSF Pitch Proposal ready for submission. Once your Pitch Proposal is approved, you'll be eligible to submit full applications for NSF SBIR Phase I Program that offers up to $250,000 non-dilutive funding to conduct research and development work.

Each participant will also receive follow-on coaching and proposal reviews from iFund Lab team.

What is the value of the NSF SBIR Phase I Program?
